The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE electric sedan is positioned as yet another player in the growing electric vehicle (EV) market. Like many manufacturers, Mercedes is promising a future filled with EVs. It has plans to introduce 10 new electric models by 2022 and phase out all internal combustion engines by 2030.

2023 Mercedes-Benz Mercedes-EQ EQE Review. Price: When the 2023 Mercedes-EQ EQE arrives for sale in mid-2022, we expect this new electric midsize sedan to have a starting price of about $70,000.

The EQE complements the company’s E-Class line, just as the EQS is the electric cousin to the S-Class sedan. Evidenced by its 196-inch length, the EQE is smaller than the EQS. The company says the new model’s exterior size is comparable to the CLS four-door coupe.

Mercedes-Benz has already begun bringing EV offerings to its fleet with its new EQ line of vehicles, starting with the luxurious EQS. In the US in 2022, the EQS will be joined by an EQB SUV and the EQE, a smaller electrified version of the former.

This mid-sized sedan will arrive with a 90 kWh battery offering 410 miles (660 km) of range and 292 HP from a single motor RWD. Inside the EV, the EQE closely resembles the EQS with its MBUX Hyperscreen and massive touch display.

Pricing is not yet available on the EQE, but Mercedes-Benz has shared that it will arrive in 2022.
